The Palm Beach County Law Enforcement Foundation was founded in 1997 to support all law enforcement officers in areas where government funding is not available.

The foundation gives educational scholarships to law enforcement officers, donations to police departments to further their special programs and assists officers and their families in time of financial need.

The foundation is completely non-profit and is funded by its directors. No appeals are made to the public.

In the last few years the foundation has donated nearly half a million dollars in support of these goals.

The foundation firmly believes that a well educated officer better serves the public, the police department and contributes to the personal advancement of the officer.
